We have just upgraded or replaced the hard drive in your system. Please be aware that if the newly replaced drive should ever give you trouble, drives we sell carry a three year manufacturer's warranty and come with a 30 day Empire Replacement Service Coverage. If the new drive fails within the first thirty (30) days, The Replacement Service Coverage covers the cost of returning the hard drive for a replacement and reinstalling your operating system to full functionality once the replacement drive arrives. We will also give a best attempt at transferring any data we can to the new drive with no written guarantee of success. Otherwise, after the first thirty days, the drive is covered under the OEM’s warranty which applies only to the physical drive itself. Any additional work performed such as the cost to reinstall your Operating System or transfer your files from the old drive to the new is not under any expressed warranty. In the unlikely event the newly replaced drive fails and need to be replaced there is a small RMA fee involved to send your hard drive back for replacement. Depending on the manufacturer of the drive, the time it takes to get a replacement can be anywhere from three days up to two weeks. The replacement hard drive comes from the manufacturer blank and will need to have an Operating System reinstalled and any and all system drivers installed. You'll also need to reinstall programs, reconfigure settings and transfer any data you have backed up to the replacement drive.
